Plot and turning points
- A different body changes the opening
The first volume begins with an adult from Tokyo waking as a blind, boneless slime. Kodansha dates the English collected volume to August 22, 2017.
- A market and a council change the goals
The publisher’s later volume summaries describe visiting merchants refusing Tempest’s currency and a separate effort to gain a seat among the human nations.
Characters and factions
- Rimuru and the people who deal with Tempest
Rimuru’s relationships expand to include neighboring rulers, visiting merchants and would-be allies. What these people recognize or accept matters to the new settlement.
World and lore
- A monster nation needs recognition
Founding a town and having other nations accept it are different milestones. The volume summaries give concrete examples in trade and diplomacy.
Powers, rules and limits
- Personal power cannot settle every obligation
The publisher’s market and council examples establish problems that depend on counterparties. Diplomatic standing and settlement resources are proposed game systems.
