Characters and factions
- Chen Jiang
A newly awakened life specialist at the rarest grade. Other people are disappointed by the public profession result, while he sees reasons to welcome it.
World and lore
- Two axes for professions
There are four grades and three broad types. The same public ceremony can assign both a rare grade and a low-status occupation. A useful civilian profession can be socially undervalued despite unusual potential.
Powers, rules and limits
- Brood growth
The Chinese publisher describes creatures that can evolve, provide benefits back to their owner, extract talents, and reproduce. Exact triggers, costs and growth rates are outside the scope of the synopsis.

Original game concept
Core loop
Choose a civilian profession, raise a small brood, and adapt it to the rift’s next hazard before defending a route.
- What the player decides
- Keep a creature as a scout or invest it in a brood upgrade that helps the next encounter. Each branch should change a visible action.
- First playable test
- Three creature jobs, two mutations, and one encounter where a support mutation offers a shorter path than raw damage.
