Opening recap4 notes
- The survivors start in a waiting room
Strangers find themselves inside a defended starting area with monsters outside. An unseen speaker says only the people who survive the tutorial can proceed to the continent. Water and ordinary weapons give the group a foothold while the threat is still outside.
- Giyoung checks what kind of fighter he can be
Giyoung opens his status screen and sees low starting values. The system grants him a Heroic-tier ability whose use is inspection. That gives him a way to assess a group he cannot physically lead through the danger on his own.
- The first partnership is practical
When the protection fails, Giyoung offers to help a stronger participant take the lead. Their escape hinges on fighting together and keeping hold of a shield. Afterward Giyoung tries to explain the situation to Deokgu Park through the game concepts he has recognized.
- He identifies a second kind of advantage
The licensed premise identifies Hyunsung as a returner. Giyoung’s ability lets him discover that fact and gives him a reason to stay close during the tutorial. The setup leaves Hyunsung’s reset trigger and how much he will share outside this recap.
Powers & world rules4 notes
- Mind’s Eye shows information about a person
The episode calls Mind’s Eye a Heroic-tier ability. It gives Giyoung access to status windows and hidden stat tiers for himself and other people. The tooltip describes inspection of a person’s current state. It gives no automatic access to what that person remembers.
- The system has distinct classes, attributes, and equipment tiers
The tutorial tells the group that they can obtain classes and that some people also receive individual attributes. It announces four equipment tiers and directs participants to the normal-tier weapons at the start. Giyoung’s rare attribute is therefore a different kind of advantage from better equipment.
- Progression must be inferred while fighting
Giyoung uses status windows and levels to reason that killing monsters can make the group stronger. He then kills a monster with poor eyesight and sees that it awards experience. The encounter confirms that reward and leaves broader advancement rules open.
- The remembered past belongs to the ally
Hyunsung’s return gives Giyoung a possible partner. Knowing a person is a returner and obtaining a specific warning from that person are separate steps. The opening source gives no verified time horizon or second reset for Hyunsung.

The Scout’s Ledger
Original game concept
A short party-drafting and rescue game. A fragile scout can read one hidden capability per round. One recruit has survived the station’s breach in an earlier run, and has private warnings they disclose through specific exchanges.
Core loop
- Inspect one recruit and choose whether to trade rations for help, train a reserve, or ask a recruit about the old route.
- Assign two people to jobs at the station. Their revealed capabilities determine which doors, pumps, and stretcher routes they can operate.
- Resolve the breach and compare each recruit’s actual contribution to what the ledger predicted.
- What the player decides
- Give your respirator to the returner in exchange for the exact breach sequence, or keep it for a less experienced medic who can use a sealed service route. Both routes can evacuate the crew.
- First playable test
- Three recruits, two job slots, one breach, and three rounds. Keep each profile’s visible capability separate from its private memory. Test whether players can identify which information they bought and which ally actually made the evacuation possible.
